Chances is here to help! We are here to lend you a helping hand. They say it takes a village to raise a child but I also say it takes a Community to build one up as well."

This is Our Story
During the pandemic of 2020, life as we know it changed dramatically for everyone. This caused a financial crisis around the world as well. Two friends (Nancy Febus Melendez and Michele Sanchez) decided they wanted to change their financial status by starting a business. They consider the options of which business to start and decided to go with DIY projects and T-shirt sales. While preparing to start this business, neither one of them told the other that something was missing, and this did not feel like the right path to take. After a few months had gone by, Nancy decided to share with Michele how she really felt about the business decision they had made. Michele confessed that she was feeling the same way. Nancy went on to express that what she really wanted to do was help people. To Nancy’s surprise, Michelle expressed the same feelings. At that moment both Nancy and Michele decided to start a Community Center to help others in need. With that said, we are proud to announce that on 10/4/2020, Chances, The Community Center was born. The community centers slogan is as follows: “Take a Chance Today for A Better Tomorrow”.
